Shabby Apple’s Stunning Dress Giveaway!

Gorgeous, Timeless, Quality

A few years back, I realized that I would rather have fewer clothes but have them be quality, timeless items that fit me well and that I truly loved. Shabby Apple definitely makes the cut with their beautiful selection of women’s dresses for all occasions. Since I love feminine looks, classic and vintage dresses, pencil-skirts and A-lines, my Shabby Apple wish list is pretty long!

I have not personally tried any of their items, but I would absolutely love to. They do have maternity dresses, but at 32 weeks, I’m not sure now is the time for me to order one. After the baby though, my wish list includes (but is not limited to!): the Cider, Boogie Woogie, The Ramble, Fifth Ave, G. Cooper, Syncopation and the Ingrid.

Fit to Flatter

Their Fit to Flatter contains 3 simple and quick questions that will help speed you on your way to finding the perfect dresses for your body type. It just takes a moment and it’s fun to see the suggestions. If you’re like me, no doubt when you visit the site you will be overwhelmed. There are so many gorgeous, unique dresses that one hardly knows where to start. The dress selections recommended by the Fit to Flatter were fantastic and I found several that I would absolutely love. On their sidebar, you can shop by collection from Paris’ OhLaLa to the South Pacific to Manhattan.  You can also choose dresses based on Hourglass, Apple, Pear, Pencil, Athletic, Womanly, Tall or Short which I think is a fantastic way to categorize women’s dresses.

They also carry comfortable-looking and classy yoga/fitness wear, feminine skirts,  stylish women’s bathing suits and beautiful little girl’s dresses.

Enchanting Tales

Each dress has a detailed description as well as additional notes about fitting true to size, generously etc. Many also have a review associated with them. I always love that! Each dress also has a story. Here is an excerpt from the Cider:

“As the train pulled into Amherst , I heaved a sigh of relief. The heat and monotony had dulled the city beyond recognition–everywhere people trudged around in a late summer’s daze, squinting into the thick air and scuttling into the closest air-conditioned building. But now, weekender bag in hand, I was making my escape–an impetuous trip to the Berkshires for a long weekend of  clean air and quiet.  Hawthorne’s "Tanglewood Tales" and tickets to a night of Tchaikovsky with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in hand, I set out to find my bed & breakfast, a little old manor house tucked back in the lush trees on a shady side street. I slipped into my dress and sauntered back out into the cooling afternoon, an hour or so before the concert, content to wander my way onto the Tanglewood grounds in the lovely pine-scented air…”

Modest and Classy

It’s increasingly hard to find a classy, modest dress. Modesty means different things to different women but for me, I look for a decent length and a neckline that isn’t revealing. I want to look beautiful and feminine; and that is exactly what these dresses convey to me! “Beautiful Dressing Shouldn’t Be Complicated” but far too often I find that it is; you need to add cami’s, sweaters etc. but not with these dresses!

Helping Women Worldwide

“We at Shabby Apple Dresses love to help women dress but are also committed to helping women live as well.  Thus we are supporting the fight against global poverty by partnering with Unitus-a non-profit organization that accelerates access to life-changing financial services for those at the bottom of the economic pyramid. Shabby Apple donates 5% of its net sales to support work in India (where Shabby Apple Dresses has sourced many of its dresses and the textiles used to manufacture its dresses).”
