Death Before Birth: A Mini Series about Miscarriage

This series is not written by a grief counsellor, a doctor, nurse and any other professional. It’s written by a mother, whose heart was broken and has healed. It’s been 3 years and, at times, I still weep for my little one. What I share here is what helped and worked for me; what I felt. Your situation will be different but I pray that something here is an encouragement and help to you.

This series is aimed to help someone out there looking the way I was after losing Isaiah. I am thankful to all the brave women who shared their stories ‘out there’ to be a help and encouragement to others (me!) when I was trying to get through it. I aim to be one of those brave women.

With that being said, this is a difficult topic to cover and knowing how much to share has been a struggle for me. I have decided to be fairly detailed in the writing of this series and pray that you will not be offended. Please know that Isaiah’s story is detailed and that if you are particularly sensitive you may wish to skip part one of Isaiah’s story.

Please feel free to share your thoughts, stories and insights throughout the series to be a blessing to me as well as others who may come upon this series in their time of need. If you have shared your story somewhere, I encourage you to add your link in the comments.

  1. What a tough topic! I will be interested to read your story, and sad and scared too… I am in my first trimester of my first pregnancy and have so many friends who have gone through miscarriages.
